Christina, Who is VERY Inconsistent

Hello Everyone!

I’m sure you’ve gathered that my name is Christina- and I’m here to help you (and myself) stay on top of the personal and professional goals you make for yourself! I am by no means an expert on the topic, but I do know what it’s like to achieve a goal and how amazing that feels!

I needed an outlet to share my thoughts, aspirations, self doubt, etc. and I thought that well, maybe I’m not alone in how I’m feeling so let’s put this out there for the world to see!

To begin, I am full of self doubt. My weight has gone up and down, my anxiety has been the same way, and I don’t feel fulfilled in my current job. This needs to change. I love to write, especially about topics I’m particularly passionate about, so I feel like my perfect outlet is a blog where I can document my  accomplishments and setbacks and everything in between.

Now a little bit about me! I’m in my twenties and from New York where I grew up with a very loud and loving family.  I’m engaged to a wonderful man who I love with all my heart who loves me regardless of my weight, the fact that my anxiety can be overwhelming, and that I never stop talking. I lived in Florida for the past four years working at a very magical company that I absolutely loved, and just recently moved back home to New York because I wanted to settle down near both of our families. While I was living in Florida I was going to the gym every day, meal planning, and living my life entirely on my own terms. Now that I’m back in New York, I’m learning to adjust to my new schedule and having so many people back in my every day life, but it hasn’t been the easiest transition for me.

I have just about one year until mine and my fiancé’s wedding date and at that time I want to be in a much better place mentally, physically and spiritually.

To do this I’m coming up with SMART goals. SMART goals are Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound.

Goal #1: I want to fit into a size 6 pants by May 1, 2019. (That is 187 Days from today and I am 3 sizes away from that.) I will get there by following WW every week (as well as by goal #3).

Goal #2: Apply to seven jobs a week, and review my resume every two weeks. The eventual goal is to land a new position that makes me feel fulfilled. These are my measureable steps to getting there!

Goal #3: Complete 3-4 Orange Theory classes a week and run one additional mile every week. Increasing by 1 mile every two weeks.

Goal #4: I will meditate or do breathing exercises two times a week.

Goal #5: Write one blog post a week updating you all on my progress!

There you have it! This is my accountability and how I will stay consistent. Thank you all for getting this far and for joining me in this journey. I look forward to hearing how you all begin to better yourselves!

How do you hold yourselves accountable? Leave me some advice in the comments below!
